Frequently Asked Questions
Commercial
How do usage rights and licensing work for broadcast versus digital media?
Generally, “Broadcast” usage indicates paid-placement advertising (TV and radio commercials, social media advertisements, etc.) and is quoted based on the geographic area reached and length of placement. Digital Media most often refers to non-paid (“non-broadcast”) placement including organic social media and company website and is negotiated based-on the length of the script and specific usage.
Can we schedule a live-directed session with our creative team?
Yes. Live directed sessions allow me to give you and your end client exactly what you need at the time of recording. I regularly study with top-tier coaches and casting directors to ensure a variety and adaptability in my performance.
Do you offer full buyouts in perpetuity for commercial usage?
For commercial (meaning broadcast/paid-placement projects), usage is licensed for specific terms to align with your campaign's reach and duration. However, for non-paid placements like explainers, corporate videos, or organic social media, I am happy to discuss licensing in perpetuity.
Can you provide multiple takes with different energy levels for A/B testing?
Yes. This allows you to have a varied range of takes to work in your final project.

Standard practice is to animate to the voiceover performance.
What is the ideal word count for a 60, 90, or 120-second explainer video?
A standard, natural speaking pace translates to about 150 words per minute or 2.5 words per second.

What happens if we need to adjust the script after the video is already animated?
I will accommodate you, your end client, and your needs. Generally, the first round of rewrites that are less than 10% of the final script is included at no charge, however script edits start at $150 for each round afterwards.
